I was dealt with swiftly in A&E, triage to X-ray to results and after care. My muse was lovely and compassionate

The staff behind the reception were (loudly) complaining about how tired they were and how they didn’t want to be there. (It was 9.15 in the morning) One nurse (wearing dark blue) said the f-word to her colleague about being put on night shifts, I heard the whole conversation from the seating area and I just thought this was very unprofessional.

I came in after been knocked unconscious for 5 minutes with a punch to the face, also fell and smacked my head when I fell and I was like 6 hours till I could no longer take anymore, I was told it was classed as a head injury and it was serious but they still left me hours with nothing, hole in my lip all swollen no pain relief no nothing and when I was asking how long it would be the lady had abit of an attitude. Ive still not been treated for anything at scunthorpe general as I have not and will not be back, same happened other month I have a rare asthma struggling to breath put me in red zone then left me 4 hours. Service for serious are shocking!!

Treat everyone the same!! Aervice is shocking. If I was seen and sent home It would of been one less patient to see!

Professional in their care with compassion and reassurance throughout my my treatment..from all the Doctor and nurses and all the team involved Thank you very much for your great care.

Staff was lovely and kind and we was fairly quick through the ward. We was waiting a little longer than expected at reception but could be the fact the nurse was busy booking someone in off the ambulance. But would have been nice to be acknowledged and explained to that someone would speak to us soon.
