I was seen quickly by kind staff. Unlike other times I have been seen my doctors etc. I felt listened to. Not fobbed off. Was quickly treated and sent home with the best treatment for me. Not just the standard one. As that wasn’t best for me.

The nurses and doctors couldn't do enough for us. They kept us informed at every stage. There was someone in the vicinity at all times which made us feel safe and cared about. They were friendly but very professional.

7hrs in A&E - first waiting time was 3hrs before seeing anyone , then another 2.5hr wait before seeing doctor , then moved to X-ray another hour wait followed by another wait to see doctor again to review results Unbelievable - no prioritisation off cases to move people through the departments everyone just sat waiting like at deli counter

Get immediate face to face consultations within the first hour off a visit , people are I’ll when attending A&E and patience is low and people in pain Then sort the good and bad and get least cases seen and out the door

It's a scary time when you are ill. The staff at scunthorpe emergency care centre were excptional. Especially the nurse Eric who was looking after me. Dr Khan was very knowledgeable and very patient. He everything properly and in detail about my care plan. I was very looked after and felt important. Thank you so much everyone.

Was seen pretty quickly everyone was efficient professional and kind and got home that night even though thought would have to stay the night

I was very happy with my care. The department was almost empty when I arrived and was attended to immediately . Bloods were taken almost immediately and a scan soon followed. As soon as the scan was read, I was prescribed the appropriate drugs and discharged back into the care of my family.

I was there 3 hours ……. A cup of tea would have been nice

My daughter was triaged but because there was a lengthy waiting time we had to leave at half past midnight

All staff were kind and polite

A wait time of over 4 hours for a child is not great but I understand not much can be done to remedy this issue when it is busy in A&E.
