Staff was mostly ok but never involved me in the decision. Empathy goes a long way.
Suggested improvements
Actually involve me in the decision rather then having a paternalistic coercive approach. It was all about we doing this end off. Only had information when i asked, otherwise not informed.

It was a six hour wait so did not stay above 1hour.i had something in my eye and it must have come out while waiting but had a sore eye for 2 days.

Maybe have a TV.

Waiting times have improved hugely, we were waiting for no more than 2 hours. Staff were all very friendly.

Much improved experience to last time which was September 2022 when I didn't feel staff treated you with dignity.
Suggested improvements
I know it's difficult but having to wait when ask to go to toilet when unable to go unaided. This causes mum distress and anxiety in this setting. I do appreciate staff have lots of other patients to care for as well.

I came to A&E with an injury to my leg that wouldn’t stop bleeding. The staff worked hard to sort it out & really cared for me. They referred me to the plastics team in Hull. The feedback from Hull was that the care at A&E was exceptional & there’s a good chance I will heal without surgery because of them. I want to pass on my sincere thanks
