Review of Cardiac Rehab SGH

I wasn't contacted at all in my first 12 weeks following op. I was back at work when I was contacted, when before I had all the time in the world to do rehab. I would have liked to have done more rehab earlier. Also the program was aimed at a very slow recovery an dnot tailored to me. I am 41, fit and healthy. I needed to be given a more intensive program in my opinion.
I have only had 2 or 3 phonecalls in the 6 months after my op. I haven't been seen or assessed by anyone in person. Luckily I'm self sufficient but I would be very concerned for elderly people who live alone and people who do not have my level of 'get up and go' attitude.
I feel like I've basically rehabilitated myself in all honesty.
No doubt Covid will be blamed!
Suggested improvements
Make contact much earlier. 6 weeks after op.
Tailor care better against age, fitness and attitude.
See people in person and do proper physical assessments.

All staff really friendly and caring nothing was over to much for then, really fantastic care from all the team.

Staff were all very kind and caring. I felt very well looked after during my stay. Very impressive care and attention received. Thank you.
Suggested improvements
I struggled with the lack/variation of menu choices available for a diabetic diet. It was a concern that I was not getting enough calories to feed me and my baby enough.

I gave this answer as even when on either ward 26, or delivery I was greeted/treated with a lot of respect, and all the midwives were helpful in many ways.
Suggested improvements
I do not feel as though anything could have been done better by any and the staff.
