I was left by myself sobbing from the pain and having to beg for medication and information. In the end I was told I could not have any more meds and that I had to go home and see my specialist the following week. The nursing staff and one dr were kind when they were with me but I feel there just wasn’t enough staff on duty and the communication between staff were pretty poor. I was not given any discharge papers or information when leaving. One nurse in particular was extremely nice and wheeled me to my the car park and helped me into my husbands car. But I did not feel I got any answers and left in just as much pain as I arrived.

Suggested improvements
I think communication could have been better. Discharge paperwork should have been given and I really feel that someone should have called my husband and explained what was happening and why. I was on high medication and not in a good state of mind to really understand or take in any information.
