I was struggling to breath, I was sat in a booth waiting my turn, when a Dr walked past looked at me and removed my mask, I just gave the thumbs up! He saw his patient and then took me in his room and listened to me. I was then taken to a clinical area where I was put on a nebuliser and given steroids. Bloods was taken along with my BP and a ECG. All the time I was there I was made to feel comfortable and reassured. The department was clean and tidy and I felt completely safe from COVID-19. I am sorry but I cannot remember the ED Drs name to mention him. I was showed the utmost respect at all times.

Suggested improvements
The reception staff could of been a little more understanding. I was unable to answer questions in sentences my husband had to intervene. I asked if I could remove my mask but this was a stern no, they could see the distress I was in and would not let me remove this. I felt the mask was just adding to my condition. I also thought why was it other patients was being called before me when they could see I could not breath. I was just grateful the ED Dr was around where I sat!
