Sat for 6 hours to be told it was an emergency department not for pre existing conditions, was told to go to the department by community nurse team! It obviously was serious as was in the hospice for 10 days! No help from your doctor at all, admittedly blood tests done but no other observations, absolutely disgusted with the way we were treated!

Maybe listion to what the patient/ carer says and not to be quick to judge, more care and compassion needed by that particular doctor, felt like we was wasting his time, he more or less said that, and he told us in no uncertain terms it was an emergency department, not for pre existing conditions, I was told to take my husband to a/e!
