The new A and E facility was clean and well planned and such an improvement on the old one. From arrival to departure all staff were pleasant and considerate and explained what was happening and why. The offer of a cup of tea in the cubicle was unexpected but welcome. There were many other patients but the privacy cubicle arrangement made it feel less hectic and busy. Understandably there were delays waiting for blood test results and xrays. However, this did not distract from a first class service. We were impressed by the staff who had to deal with a particularly challenging patient.
