The care and expertise that I received from Gill Wilson & her team has been fist class . Nothing has been too much trouble for Gill , she has been very reassuring in what has been a very traumatic time for me , she has made & continues to do so , make the journey so much easier through her skill , knowledge , humour & empathy . Can’t thank her enough

Some of the categories given are a bit vague. Not sure what the first one means. I have long term medical conditions including very active IBS and radiation proctitis. Also radiation damage in anal area.

Nothing. The nurse I saw (Gill Wilson) was fantastic - she carefully explained and demonstrated everything and arranged follow up appointments with other professionals/practitioners to help me decide whether a colostomy is the way forward to improve my quality of life.

Since my surgery in October 2021 I have received outstanding support and care from the Harrogate stoma care team. Any concerns or queries have always been dealt with sympathetically and promptly.
i have been impressed with the holistic attitude of the nurses when I have needed to see them in clinic. If they have picked up on issues outside of their care they have ensured that I have been directed to the relevant person to deal with the problem.
I have always felt comfortable contacting the team.
I cannot fault the care and support they have given and continue to give.
