Crohn’s disease Colostomy stoma

Suggested improvements
I am aware that my stoma nurses have been informed they may no longer have a clinic room. I am only 3 months post surgery, and the service from the stoma nurses is, and will always be, endlessly invaluable to myself. They have been an incredible support to me. Gill and Louise really are amazing. I have already struggled several times in the past with making appointments as they are unsure of being able to offer me an in clinic appointment. When I have come I have often had to move areas which isn’t acceptable. Having had this major surgery and a stoma introduced has been very hard to overcome, something I’m dealing with now everyday. To hear that there may no longer be a specific safe space to come for appointments has left myself very anxious and frustrated. Home visits are not viable to myself as I work full time, so this is not an option for me. I fear for others also who also use the service and in the future people In a similar situation to myself and the negative, distressing impact this will have. It is quite frankly appalling.
