Community therapy was most welcome as I got very fatigued in the early months following the stroke when most progress is made and traveling would have been daunting. All the therapists were kind, caring and empathetic and encouraging and complimenting progress. They treated me as an individual including me in what goals I wished to achieve.

An explanation of the service prior to leaving hospital would have been helpful.
