I am a health proffesional my self and can appreciate the hustlw and bustle of a ward enviroment. However the general cleanliness of ward 107 leaves a lot to be desired. I have witnessed staff attending patients with out adhering to hand hygiene attening patients with same gloves on or doing bloods with no gloves on .Not washing hands between patients. No alchol hand gel at the beginning of ward 107 since Wednesday informed staff twice nothing done On visiting my relative found 2 bottles of urine on windowsill when i formed staff told to busy to remove been there since night time this was midday. My relative was left behind a screen at 10.30 to wash we arrived at 11.50 still behind screen bed soiled . His wife helped him change and cleared away his toiletries when asked about bed told cant change it is lunch time. Soiled sheets in view for all to see how appetising. My relative has a stoma and changed his bag when attending to his washing needs informed nursing staff bag on floor still there 2 days later his wife picked up to place in clinical waste. Have witnessed staff being degrogative to a ethnic minority man as she thought he couldnt understand English. Is all the basic care forgotton about now.
