My therapist was always extremely kind, very sensitive. She is also a skilled professional practitioner and counsellor.
She and other staff at Rowcroft have been with us (myself and my husband) every single step of the way. My husband died recently and the support has carried on.
I fear I may want to keep in touch forever such has been the kindness. Rowcroft is a brilliant place and a model of what palliative care should be.
Prior to initial visit I was very fearful and anxious, the ward "hospice" made my cancer diagnosis very real. However was immediately put at ease and reassured that my fears were not addressed, since when I have looked forward to units for complementary therapy.
Staff and drs excellent.
In the open wards - noise levels pretty high and mobiles ringing noticed that when patient is asleep often woken to see if they want drinks/ etc.
It is not a criticism but an observation.
You all do the most wonderful work.
The staff cared about for you as a person!! I do not think it could be improved unless you put on more staff to see more patients.
The environment is fantastic.
Beautiful scenery and comfortable, accommodation a pleasure to be here.
Not having experiences reflexology or massage before I was not sure what to expect but I found all the treatment very relaxing and satisfactory and have looked for ward sessions. Many thanks.
Staff good care and time to discuss your individual care.
The care was excellent as my worries on the page apposite show. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I don't think anything could possibly be improved. The food was also good.
Nothing really.
Excellent care, beautiful surroundings. Friendly staff.
Doctors explained clearly what would be available and what they proposed would be best for the patient and their condition.
Food was tailored to patients needs.
