Everyone has been very caring without being patronising.
It is a peaceful environment where I feel safe.
The complementary therapy and other.
The care was excellent. Calling my husband by his first name was a nice personal touch. I also felt cared for and treated with respect and dignity. It felt very personal and loving - especially providing me with a bed in his room.
The team especially the OT,s have been brilliant and have a lot of patience with me. They have helped me to remain as independent as I can be given that I am a very stubborn man. I live on my own with one loyal friend to help me and she has found there support invaluable, and without their support she would have buckled under the strain. She and I know that if we struggle with anything they are only a phone call away. We simply would not have coped without them and my worst fear of going into a home has diminished so far. I want to remain in my home as long as possible. The NHS doesn't have any idea what I'm going through and have not got the capacity to deal with my disease of MND. I cannot thank them enough.
Everything was fine and nothing needs to be improved. Such a lovely place. Everyone makes you welcome.
On behalf of my mum I think the staff are excellent and love the wee pamper treatments.
My mum was confused to answer this so I am answering for her.
All doctors/consultants, nurses have kept me informed.
Excellent in all respects.
The staff were all very attentive and helpful. Nothing w as too much trouble. The food was really tasty and pleasant and did a lot towards making my health improve.
Total commitment and kindness from all staff and volunteers.
A wonderful, clean and relaxed environment.
What could be improved for our loved one is nothing.
Very well done to all.
Thank you.
Care received was outreach for mother-in-law being cared for at home. Palliative care team supported whole family well, sign posted and liaised with other services well e.g GP, district nurses and Marie Currie.
Very friendly and whole family focused.
