The doctors were contradicting each other on their initial assessments and I had to be very firm in my request to see the consultant. Consultant and nurses were fantastic.

All the medical staff were kind, extremely helpful.
The theatre staff were great explaining everything as they went along - putting me at ease.
The young lad pushing me to the theatre was cheerful and the lovely lady who made me a cup of tea was great, admin staff on airwal were happy and pleasant.

The nurses asked if I was okay and made sure I was comfortable. The doctors told me what they were doing as they were doing it.

They made what was a pretty intrusive procedure as pleasant as it could be.
