Poor communication, no privacy. Wanted 3 hours pain relief did not know what room I did not know I was caring for surgery. Dinna was amazing and made the experience much better.

Suggested improvements
More staff likes Dinna – caring and understanding and communicating as much as possible.

I feel like there as disinformation at times, I had to ask 4 times to change my bedding; I had to be down in the bloodied bed. The same thing with asking for water or painkiller.

Suggested improvements
I feel like some of the staff is working like a superstar! They are kind and caring but some is just trying to avoid working.

Review of Queens - Childrens & Young Peoples Assessment Unit (CYPAU)
9th August 2024

Lovely and caring staff (Danny, Soniya, Imogen (?); the consultant who came in to see us this morning kind Anita, etc). Felt like they were checking on Noah regularly and providing insights as and when needed.

Suggested improvements
Perhaps faster response when IV monitor is beeping during the night. In A&E we received different advice between nurse and doctor on how long to wait before starting the fluid challenge after our child took medicine.

Review of NICU
9th August 2024

Amazing, can’t fault the care provided in what is hopefully the worst situation we and our son will go through. The staff really care and the unit works seamlessly together to provide the best care.

Suggested improvements
The changes in lead constantly week on week can lead to inconsistency in treatment, which can be frustrating for parents.
