In total I spent over 20 hours in A&E. Waited 15 (fifteen) hours to see doctor despite being classified as a priority case having had multiple tests for possible mini stroke / silent heart attack. Moved from A&E majors to a corridor that was titled Emergency Medical Care. Very very uncomfortable hard seats with no communication overnight. One of many patients moved together from majors with minimal communication. There were no doctors for long periods & nurses appeared overstretched with what appeared to be limited number of senior nurses especially during the night hours. Doctors were seemingly not around or overstretched elsewhere to attend to the many patients.

Suggested improvements
Better leadership. More help to those staff working hard. Too many going round in circles periods. More doctors on call in A&E at all times required. Not enough communication with many hours just sitting around. I had numerous blood pressure checks but minimal communication. A difficult experience that with more support & organisational skills throughout the various departments would have helped greatly.
