My initial admission was done with ease the receptionist was extremely helpful the next nurse who took my pulse etc again was helpful as were all the other departments ecg blood tests etc this was all completed in a couple of hours then I went to the waiting room for my results sitting on very uncomfortable chairs I had chest pains and needed to lay down when there were empty seats I spread out however every time I did this a nurse would come over and take my temperature and blood pressure this was done so many times I asked for some pain medication which took 3.5 hours to come I was given a blanket and cleared a space in the corner away from everyone and layed on the floor as this was the only way I could get comfortable again the same nurse came in asked me to get of the floor she wanted to do another blood pressure test again for probably the 9 th time I refused to move as after 10 hours of waiting I needed some comfort as previously mentioned I needed to layed flat I did explain this hours before not sure if this prompted the staff especially after one man said to them this is scandalous he’s 73 and he needs to lay down I was then moved into a room where there were multiple chairs and beds I question why wasn’t I offered this on closing I spent 13 hours in a hospital which needs better facilities
