Treating the whole patient instead of one symptom requires attention. I needed an MRI scan and had one booked to be done a couple of days after discharge, having waited 3 weeks. Breaking the same leg which having 18 months pain in prompted my initial GP visit July 2015 then referral having bloods and lengthy waits between GP appointments, meant when the MRI scan date was attended, it was then rescheduled for a further lengthy period because a metal plate, pins and screw were placed in the leg 5 days after it was broken. Queens medical staff knew the MRI scan couldn't be done straight afterwards but did not tell me or get it done before. I was allowed to unwittingly take my broken leg/ankle, cast and wheelchair to King George, and then turned away, when the MRI scan was cancelled, to be rebooked at a future date when the metal wasn't going to move about by radiation during a scan. The reason I broke my leg was partly because it's been in pain since Feb 2014. Which since the MRI scan I know is caused by damaged discs in my lower back. The first referral appointment for 27.4.16. with Mr David in Neurology was cancelled. The second isn't for a Wednesday which on your website is his clinic day. Now what? Please ensure I do not start getting dodgy calls/emails or post from subscribed websites.
