Everybody was very cheerful all the time. Nothing was too much trouble but do feel they are stretched to the limit with rewards workload.

It was all right. Nurses were polite. Food was alright. More nurses would be better

Review of E6
14th May 2013

I spent 3 weeks on E6 having transfered from critical care. I needed a lot of regular care and this is exactly what I got from a staff that could not do enough to speed my recovery. I felt that everyone was genuinely caring, professional and friendly. E6 was a credit to the NHS.

Review of F4 stroke

I was rather disappointed with my time in F2. The 6 bed room I was in was very noisy and staff only appeared (eventually) in response to bell call. Inappropriate food was provided for my condition and I did not get the impression of a well managed ward. My next of kin spent too long trying to track staff down & this was unfortunate given my subsequent treatment in other areas which was exemplary.

Review of E8

I was transfered to E8 for few days prior to discharge after 5 weeks in QA. I found the Ward to be extremely well organized, with professional, friendly and responsive care. I was in a bay of 4 but never felt cut off or isolated. Personally I would have found it useful if the bright lights at the bedhead end of each cubicle could have been individually patient controlled although this was not a major issue.
