I wasn't given much information about pain control prior to leaving the hospital i.e. nothing was discussed regarding what pain killers I should take, at what dosage and for how long. Also, while Spire provided me with a detailed manual specific when I went in for an operation with them, QAH provided more generic information about thrombosis. The detailed manual from Spire was more useful. Other than the above, I was very happy with the care provided.
