I was sent to Ambulatory care by my GP. When I arrived I was greeted by a friendly receptionist/ nurse called Rachel. I was then seen by a frieldly nurse and had all my obs done and an ECG. I waited 5 minutes to see a doctor. Her name was Sarah, she was very friendly and personable. She ask all the relevant questions and dealt with me with great compassion and care. What a breath of fresh air she is and a credit to her profession and the QA. Due to my ongoing condition Sarah organised an MRI scan for 31/12/18, as the tumour I have in my chest can also grow in the brain. She gave me complete peace of mind as she was extremely thorough. I had my scan within several days and had the result on the same day. I went back to AC on 4/1/19 and had the scan discussed in detail, by Sarah. She is a wonderful doctor and should be recognised this. Other Doctors, Nurses and Receptionists could learn a lot of common decency and caring, from the Ambulatory Care dept. Well done and thank you all. Lynne Ball.
