It was a regular service but until recently the only contact was by letter when I was informed of date time of appointment. Now with the introduction comes via an email (much improve!) since retired much of my life is travelling so unpredictable appointments were very difficult for me, particularly as appointments were 6 monthly or more and the hospital desk could only offer appointments within six weeks. Recently had a cataract op lots of information given (verbal and in writing). I had very uncomfortable light sensitivity for 2/3 days and a persisting gritty feeling and was told after it was both normal but not really explained the leaflets.
