Horrendous experience, my 80 year old mother in law was left in a chair for hours on end, was eventually transferred to a ward which was all men. She was put in a bed by the window, with no privacy curtains and a TV above her which was on all day and all night and was so loud she was unable to sleep. She was so cold during the night, she had to get dressed in her day clothes. The consultant was rude and at one point, when she asked a question was told to 'shush' She was not given her medication for 12 hours and she's diabetic. She had pie and chips for lunch, which was completely inedible. She's is an elderly woman was various medical conditions and was not well cared for at all. Shame on you.
