Do not come here unless you simply want results of a test (no treatment) or you just really enjoy late night television, solitude, and uncomfortable chairs. I arrived around 12:40am with a hurt ankle. I was quickly processed and given Paracetamol, and received an X-ray by 1:15am. However, from then until 4:30am I waited in a secondary waiting room. I was not once offered more painkillers again, even after I made it clear that I was in a great deal of pain. I went to a desk twice to make sure I was waiting in the right place and to ask for more Paracetamol or some other pain reducer. When I was finally invited in to see a doctor (three other patients had passed through the waiting room I was in during this time, one of whom also had a hurt ankle), he told me that I should get an X-ray. In those three+ hours, nobody had even looked at my chart. His incredibly helpful advice was "walk on it," and he didn't even give me a crutch so that I could manage it while still attending classes. Do not come here. As a foreigner from a country without something like the NHS, it is literally better to just pay for an emergency room visit if you at least get something from it.
