12 hour wait in A and E. lack of communication throughout. Anyone asking for time updates (politely) were shot down and made to feel awful. 5 water jugs empty at 5pm and still empty at 5am. People resorting to filling their own jugs in the toilets. Not one cleaner seen in the 12 hours. The floors were filthy and wet where drinks had been tipped. Any contact with nurses / reception was hostile. Actually overheard a phone conversation between the receptionist and another department regarding a patient, very unprofessional and heard the use of “for f#^k sake”! Little understanding of people’s frustration having waited for lengthy periods in pain. All people wanted was communication. Left without a proper diagnosis and called back the following day to query results only to be responded to by a rude receptionist again! Why are these people in the jobs.
