My comments are Nothing to do with the counsellor. This counselling style is about listening, But there is a need to put positive steps into place to improve and recover our lives. Advice on dealing with loneliness, household items, photographs, dating, diversions etc could be given based on individual requirements. There's only so much emptying of emotions that you can take without needing something to fill you back up with positivity. It depends on each individual, but feeling like an individual with something to take away would be very welcome.

Suggested improvements
The 50 minute standard counselling time isn't long enough or pass the person onto a more practical approach afterwards to complete the session.
