Lou was very empathetic and encouraged me to realise that my feelings were all just part of the grieving process. She also showed me different ways of looking at things so that I was struggling with. Above all, though, she listened.

It might have been nice to have been offered or provided with a glass of water, but that's a very minor point (and I could have asked for one!).
