I always feel welcome and cared for! Encouraged to participate in arranged activities, such as art, quizzes, craft - flower arranging, jewelry making or just resting. Bonus to be able to have one hair washed - cut at least once a fortnight if hair dresser available :-).
So thankful for the love and care.
The hospice is a very caring and supportive community. Nothing is too much trouble.
I don't think very much more could be done to improve the service. The wards/rooms were lovely and quicker. My husband when he came to see me. Thoroughly enjoyed his dinners here.
Excellent care. The staff were wonderful and took time to listen and made me comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble.
My mum has received the most amazing care at Ashford Hospice. She has been treated with dignity, respect, love and care. Everyday I have been informed of what is happening with my mums care even when administering drugs. It is explained what it is and what it is for. My needs and concerns have been recognized by the members of staff especially nurse Patsy who has taken the time to sit with me today, explain everything and has also made me sure that m y, well being is as important. I have been blown away with the amazing care that we have received. A massive thank you.
Good service, nothing could be improved.
(Nothing).
We could not have asked for a more lovely place for mum. The staff are all caring, professional and compassionate towards our mum and the whole family. Nothing was too much trouble, they talked to us, listened to us and reassured us every step of the way. Mum was treated with dignity and respect. The nurse (Patsy) took time to sit down and talked to us and explained what was happening. Thank-you for your support and the kindness you showed to us all.
Kind and friendly attitude by all staff.
