Don't know it's my first day.
More different therapists.
Staff very helpful, genuine, caring.
Very grateful for support
Nothing is too much trouble and everyone is very kind and caring.
I have been coming to the hospital as a patient since 2011 when I was first diagnosed. I cannot begin to tell you what a wonderful place it was. I felt like I was wrapped in cotton wool, cosseted and cared for. All the staff had time to stop by my bed and pass time never seeming anxious to move on. The one to one care from every member of staff from the most junior upwards was exceptional and I firmly believe that without that attention I would not be here today to write this. So how very sad I have felt to see the decline that there has been here at Ashford. Everyone is always pleased to see me but now have no time to sit and offer chat or comfort. The level of cleanliness have deteriorated and how disapproving that the food standards have suffered as well. I hesitate to criticize but no one has to tell it like it is and the staff seem so demoralized that it is sad to see. Having said all this I would add my thanks for once again helping me through.
Excellent session, full of useful information.
Well presented in an easy to understand format. Thank you!
My mother and I found the session very informative and help us to identify symptoms as they appear.
My father has attended the hospice a few times and has given us positive feedback on his experience.
Concerns were listened to and addressed.
Good to listen to other carers' experiences and hear about best practices which help others.
Really helpful to have when to refer to GP or hospice clarified.
Symptoms discussed covered majority of those experienced by the patients cared. For even though they had numerous conditions.
