Once I was taken from the A and E, which was overwhelmed with patients and staff shortages, and where staff were stressed out-* and overwhelmed (i.e. not being able to be seen by a doctor on til 12 hours after I arrived), I was treated, or rather, investigated in the CCU, and have nothing but praise for every aspect of this superb unit, including the help and advice provided by the occupational therapist, and afterwards by Julie, the respiratory physio, especially, who gave me far and away the best, most helpful and patient info regarding my chronic anxiety problems that I had in forty years of suffering. Hang onto her!!
