Share review of The Tunbridge Wells Hospital
I had a few really friendly, happy and positive midwifes but overall I felt a lot of them did not care or want to have any patient contact except bare minimum. Some never introduced themselves chatted, smiled or even asked how I was if I needed anything. This is especially hard when you is isolation. I had to clean my own bed sheets and the sheets I removed remained on floor with multiple staff ignoring them. One midwife brought me wrong antibiotics, she did not have my doing chart with attached my 10 and brought and left someone else tablets on my table.
I saw a different Dr. every time there was no on overseeing my care and things only get done by me caring and having to remind staff I needed injections etc.
I think you could improve by having someone senior on ward checking in wife. Patients in there room and actually getting the CSW to carry out basic care instead of sitting on their phones at the desk. Which I also think allowing staff have mobiles on the ward is really inappropriate and unprofessional.
