Very good service from lovely nurses

Experience of Parkside was very good - prompt, courteous and helpful. Bit of a hiccup with transfer to another dept but not a major problem

Park side is very comfortable and I had everything I needed.

The staff at Parkside suite were fantastic. From reception to the dinner lady I was cared for in the best possible way. The staff are friendly which puts a patient's mind at ease, especially as they are going to be operated on. The nurses were extremely thorough with their checks and OBS. It was a "nice" experience being in hospital and should I need to use the hospital again, I won't hesitate to go to Parkside.

As a private patient I would have expected a little more attention during my brief stay.I had not eaten anything since midnight the day before my procedure , arrived on the ward at 7.30am , taken down for the op and was returned back to my room before lunch. I have selected my sandwich during my pre op a week before and I had to keep asking for it , it was almost a two hour wait before I got it , Not very good for a private patient who is very hungry , could do better.

Polite & efficient care.

I went in to Parkside as a day patient for an Endoscopy. Admitted midday, taken down for the procedure at 2pm. Great contact with the Surgeon, discussed my situation etc all great. However left in the recovery room for 1 hour 45 mins following the procedure. The Nurses in the recovery room were great, they called Parkside three times before they finally came to collect me. They even provided me with tea and biscuits, as they would an NHS patient. I have suggested to my insurers that they look at the bill very carefully as Parkside provided no care. Truly awful experience, I will use Clare Park for the further investigations needed.

Staff were all very caring, friendly and helpful- always professional. Food was lovely, just sad I didnt have an appetite for much. My consulant Mr Hargrove made me feel special and as though I were his only patient and the anaethetist was great too. If I can criticise anything I would say the bathroom was badly designed for someone with mobility issues

The 5* grading above says it all. Cleanliness, friendliness, information was excellent from start to finish.
