I have had two admissions, through A and E for emergencies linked to an ongoing condition ( cancer). From the point of arrival I have been treated with respect and courtesy by every single member of the hospital team, porters through to Consultants. I have been impressed with the detail of care offered, people taking trouble and going the extra mile to help, with no fuss. Over a ten day stay and a four day stay, I was quite poorly some of the time, and experienced much compassion as well as the skilled input of the nursing, medical and surgical staff. Communication has been excellent, with Consultants visiting often twice daily to update. The hospital is clean and well kept by friendly and helpful staff. The extensive food menu on offer is of a high standard and more nutritionally balanced than any I have experienced in other hospitals. I would recommend this hospital wholeheartedly.
