Staff before and after surgery were fabulous, very thorough and caring, aftercare on Spencer ward was really good, special mention for Adelaide the nurse who looked after me very well and went above and beyond, finding me a phone charger and toothbrush/paste. (Unplanned over night stay) The theatre staff were lovely and my surgery went very well so I am very grateful to my consultant Mr Gnanachandran. I was made to wait too long due to a change in the theatre list, I arrived at 7.30am for morning theatre list but not seen until 3pm as the Anaesthetist requested a change of patient order. This was as upsetting at the time, and could have been planned/ communicated better, but overall very grateful to all of the staff involved.
