Very friendly nurse staff, very attentive and caring.
Everything and everyone involved in looking after my mum was excellent except for one nurse. She was rude and aggressive for no reason at all and we were disgusted with the way she treated our mum. She was a bully and telling my mum that she was lying about the amount of pain she was feeling. As soon as she woke up in recovery this nurse told her to pull herself together and had no compassion when man asked for help with her being. She get it from cadboard, threw it on the bed and left.
Food good, friendly staff and patient.
Very friendly, kind, caring, informative and efficient nurses. All staff very helpful.
Very nice atmosphere, clean and pleasant surrondings.
I was looked after at the highest standard from the moment I arrived.
All but one of the nurses that were allocated to me were rude and very unprofessional. Not very welcoming either.
Nurses were walking in and out of the room without knocking and announcing themselves. At one point a nurse taking bloods did it quite vigorously when this was announced to the nurse no apology was given and the attitude of that particular nurse was absolutely horrendous for the reminder of my time here.
The treating doctor was pleasant enough, took time to explain things however he seemed to be extremely overworked and therefore i felt could not give the proper care and attention to each patient.
At one point I was asked to sit in the waiting room as they needed the room for another patient, baring in mind I had still not received a full handover as to why I was unwell considering I was brought in by an ambulance crew and had to be put on 2 types of painkillers and still needed more powerful pain killers whilst awaiting the doctor. But I was treated as a non priority.
In all not a pleasant experience, you are made to feel by some of the nurses that your just wasting their time, which as a genuinely unwell patient I shouldn't have to feel. It is normally a decent hospital but I would recommend looking at getting staff trained on how to show empathy and professionalism to all patients whatever they maybe there for and for them to treat all patients with decency, the same way they would like to be treated should they ever be in that situation.
