So my gp has sent an urgent referral to new cross due to finding 2 lumps that are areas of concern. 2 urgent referrals were made, one to be contacted by the 19th of September and a other date for another urgent referral by the 22nd of September. When contacting the hospital and PALS on the 26th of September, nothing has been escalated and I've been told to wait even though its nearly over the 2 week pathway to be seen by urgent referrals. I have emailed PALS and yet no come back to my issues, now I've had to ring a private hospital to see if I can seen too more quickly. My quality of life is poor at present, and as a nurse myself, I'm disgusted that the hospital have told me to wait, even though these referrals are urgent!
