The receptionists at physio were very nice BUT the receptionists at main hospital entrance were surly and unfriendly. Although I smiled and spoke politely to them, they did not smile or even raise their eyes to look at me. They gave me information in a brusque manner bordering on rudeness, whilst sprawling lazily in their chairs. I think you may be falling short on your training of receptionists as I often receive this treatment at my local GP. I get the clear message that they are to busy/important to be pleasant to patients. The Doctors however are exemplary in manner and expertise.
