From the initial assessment I felt that I was listened to and respected by all of the team. Also the staff and volunteers have a perfect balance of being there, but not being intrusive. Everyone has the opportunity to interact and are given the opportunity for individual complementary therapy. This all comes together in such a calm way and allowed me to forget about everything for one day a week. This in turn has allowed me some space to begin that I am facing. Longfield is an incredible special place where all the staff and volunteers have created a safe and calm environment where you can just be, or create, or interact with others and talk about and share experiences or ways that have helped.
