The first time during 4 1/2 year from the beginning of cancer, that someone listened to me and allowed me to talk without intervening, and putting "their take" on what I was saying feeling, going through, was during the counselling sessions. The support and benefit to me has been enormous. My only wish, I could have begun sooner, when I was in such despair.
