Nothing I was treated alright
When I came into hospital I was stressed about getting my belonging and my housing. The staff helped me to get my belongings and saved me from losing my accommodation. The NHS staff went out of their way to help me get all of my problems sorted out. The NHS staff gave great care and respect everyday I was here. They are very helpful and caring. The doctors helped me through a very stressful time. All staff in Ashurst are extremely wonderful caring and very helpful. The NHS staff are very good to sort out any problems I have and take care of me.
Staff "Nothing else".
-Need more leave.
-Need staff restbite.
-Phones should be allowed.
-Smoking area.
-Tuck shop that (patients run).
-Freedom most of us are adults.
Welcoming atmosphere and generally positive and upbeat attitude amongst staff towards patients. Good to be able to sit privately in sick room for discussion. Plenty of activities to distract the patients and good that these can be shared with family.
All the staff whom I interacted with throughout the day treated me with dignity and respect.
25/1/17.
I have never, in all my years of life been exposed to a ward with staff who have such little respect for their patients well being or basic human rights.
The primary interest of all staff would appear to be various administrative tools, followed by avoiding answering any questions a patient may have. The wellbeing and safety of patients would seem to be 4th or 5th in their list of priorities. I would send a person here if I wished to inflict serious mental harm and distress upon them. There are some nice people (staff) but this is not providing anything close to what it should be.
Ask me.
Ward was modern.
Should be able to stick in hospital toilets.
Not sure.
