More staff on ward.
Giving me a sling.
Everything excellent!!!
I came into hospital to A&E with a foreign body stuck in my throat, everyone in this department treated me with the greatest of respect and kindness. There were so many I cannot remember the names. I do remember Doctor Tom who was very attentive, patient ne caring. I eventually had to stay in a ward overnight (ward 23) and the nurses in that ward were so friendly, caring and kind to me. The next morning all the assistant nurses were super and a male nurse called Martin was so helpful and caring and nothing was too much trouble. I also met a senior consultant who treated me with the greatest of respect along with his colleagues, he was kind and patient and explained everything to me. All in all my experience of Leeds General Infirmary A & E and Ward 23 was excellent and I tried to thank everyone there for looking after me.
All the staff that treated me were fantastic. In particularly the maxillofacial surgeon who did an amazing job at stitching up a very deep split in my chin, and the staff nurse who assisted him with a torch due to the angle poise lamp overhead not working!
I was very well looked after and all the staff were very friendly. I cannot praise the staff enough for the way they looked after me. I was shown what was being done to me with a spine model showing all the metal work etc. I was quite happy with the meals.
Plastic dept and the hand unit were good and the staff members there were friendly.
