I was booked in for a head scan and being claustrophobic I was very apprehensive about being in the scanner, particularly with my head in the frame. I was dealt with by Asad the radiologist and his assistant Billie. Both relaxed me, where humorous and showed compassion and genuinely seemed to care about me putting the Classic FM on the headphones at my request and Cyprus from the air on the screen, having found out that this was my recent holiday destination. I had a relaxed experience and although very anxious initially, soon calmed down during the scan. Please convey my thanks to both these people. They are a prime example of how workers employed in a caring profession should be. When I ever need to visit the MRI department again I will remember this experience and will hopefully not be as worried or anxious. Thank you.
