I came into A&E because I was dealing with stomach issues - it’s been an ongoing issue. This day I have diarrhoea, extreme abdominal pain and bleeding from the behind. After spending 7 hours in A&E the nurse I saw told me I had constipation wanted to prescribe me laxatives. Even though I already had 7 bowel movements that day that was diarrhoea- which I told her that. The examination was rushed and poor and a complete waste of time- would have been better of staying at home. I now have GP appointments booked to see the ongoing isssue.
I was seen on time and all staff were polite
The doctor was very thorough with my health problems, also sent me for X-ray and saw me again when I came back. Talked about my medication and what he wanted me to do kept me involved.
Friendly and very consideren and made me feel at
Ease.
I was seen 15 minutes after my appointment time, which I consider reasonable. Friendly and helpful registrar.
Every was perfect good service very friendly
Excellent as always
I was taken to KG via an ambulance crew, who upon checking in were told to go to Queens, Romford.
So my entire experience of KG lasted 5 mins.
The system in place at king George’s is very good and works, the waiting times were good bearing in mind the amount of people there. You can see that there are pressures but all staff I saw were professional and courteous. I was seen in UTC then the ED then SDEC and everyone seemed in control and hard working. The only problem was from the radiology sept which took hours to send through a report.
Great service apart from a long wait
