The staff were very friendly and did explain things,but I felt that when we got into theatre not enough was explained to my child to put her at ease they just told her to lie down and straight away they were putting the mask over her face.
Afterwards I felt we were being rushed out it was all very quick and the staff were trying to run through what I had to do,handing me leaflets when my child was crying and I was trying to comfort her and listen to all the information too.
Surely the information for afterwards could be given before whilst you are waiting for your child.
