Admitted by ambulance to AMU and kept in overnight. "Parked" in Marlowe Ward as no bed space available in AMU. Staff there very nice and kind - as always - as I have been hospitalised quite a few times over the last 7 weeks. Admitted due to having violent upper body convulsions whilst seated at home. Seen by Dr Baht (from AMU) who made a clear diagnosis and prescribed a course of antibiotics. This was my first ever experience of body convulsions and I found it quite scary. Trust this is not too much information. Further background - I am actually a Cardiology patient and awaiting, I think, a pacemaker to be fitted. It cannot happen soon enough as I am now virtually housebound and have practically no energy.
