Would improve - communication, doesn't feel like he knows what's going on.
What's good - it's a nice atmosphere and friendly environment.

Thank you for your feedback. Hazelwood ward has commenced a review on how to improve communication strategies with patients and carers: implementing dedicated consultation time with doctors where carers can make an appointment to see the doctor. Also implementing dedicated ward matron rounds at visiting times to enable access to senior nurse. A new Multi-disciplinary meeting standard has also been devised and is being implemented which again should optimise communication opportunities with patients and carers. The ward is very active at having family meetings but would like to review how well our new standard for MDT meetings is working at Hazelwood

When I ring my call bell the nurses answer straight away.
The food could be improved too much given- smaller meals.

Friendly staff, always helping and answering questions.
Mobility improvement since arriving has been fantastic.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry this was uncomfortable for you. The mattresses are all audited over a 4 week period on the ward and replaced as required with immediate stock available. If a patient finds a mattress uncomfortable we will change it.

Daily physio.
Things could be put back in the same place so you can remain as independent as possible.
