Thank you for your review. I noted that you may have felt we have not involved you as much as you would have wanted and I am sorry if this is the case. We hold progress meetings for all our patients who can invite those they are close to, to attend with them. During progress meetings our patients have an opportunity to ask questions and be part of setting goals and discharge planning. We are currently working on re-starting our patient forums which unfortunately we have been unable to hold due to covid restrictions; these meetings give patients an opportunity to raise concerns, highlight good care and ask questions, hopefully this will help our patients to feel involved in their rehabilitation journey. We would always encourage our patients to ask questions and voice any concerns.

Thank you for your review. I note that you may have felt you were not given enough information and I am sorry if this is the case. We keep a welcome pack in each room with information about our ward and rehabilitation and can provide the information in different formats for patients to read, if you have difficulty reading the admitting nurse will always go through this information with you and visitors are also welcome to read. I will discuss your review at our ward meeting to ensure we are communicating effectively with our patients.
