Review of First Contact Physiotherapy-Isebrook
23rd April 2021

I've seen lots of physiotherapist since having a hysterectomy 7yrs ago,and I always end up back with same physiotherapist.shes brilliant and always fixes my reoccurring back problems, where other physiotherapists can't.shes a real asset to the department.she knows my history of back trouble and always sorts it out.it would be better if I could see her next time I have a problem cos she always fixes the problem.it would be better if there was a way to see the same physiotherapist everytime,as that saves time and resources

Review of First Contact Physiotherapy-Isebrook
21st April 2021

Received physio by phone appointment and email. Received really constructive 2 way support with physiotherapist. It did feel odd not seeing them face to face. Followed all instruction to the letter initially and then adapted to suit my own needs. Checked this out at follow up appointments. Had a good rapour with Physiotherapist. Questions answered by physiotherapist in a very down to earth non-medical fashion. Never felt rushed, fully supported at all times.

Review of Planned Care and Recovery Team (CMHT) Wellingborough and East Northants
13th April 2021

The location within the hospital was not easy to find and lacked adequate signage. The nurse, Julie that I saw was very good. At no point was I asked about my spiritual/faith needs. At no point was I asked about my culture.

Suggested improvements
As mentionned above, the signage to the department could have been better once inside the hospital.

Because I always feel at ease in hospital and home visits and I can ask questions of all kinds.

Suggested improvements
A quicker response to a phone call I made about a handrail as I still haven't heard or had my query returned and that was about 2 weeks ago.

The doctor was excellent in dealing with my concerns about my existing medication. I am very happy about my new medication plan going forward. I think that during this phone call appointment, the doctor really listened to my needs and my experience of how the medication affects me. I would like to thank the doctor very much for his excellent work.

Suggested improvements
Nothing could have been done better during my appointment.

I understand why appointments have changed to phone and video calls because of the pandemic but it is hard to know whether you are doing the exercises correctly when you only have pictures and a description to go by. If the exercises could be made into short videos done by a physio it would help.

Fantastic service and Lauren was brilliant. Due to covid the appointments were delivered via video call and Lauren was always on time and always had a kind word and good advice. My confidence has grown and Lauren explained everything in simple terms which really helped not only with regards to my shoulder issue but also around general aches and pains and how things work.
