In spite of severely deteriorating mental health issues over the past 15 months including many contacts with the MHT requesting further help including that I was thinking of self harm I received no support or help of any kind. I had to apply to a clinic in London for help and make a case to the CCG for funding which has been a hard fight and the Trust even opposed this. Things got so bad for me that I made two serious attempts at suicide which ended with me spending 4 days in hospital each time. In spite of this the Trust still offered me no further support of assistance of any kind. I was being assessed remotely by the clinic in \London and despite their request that the local Trust provide me with some extra support following the suicide attempts no action was taken. This demonstrates the lack of care prevalent at this Trust and the total disregard for patient welfare and human life. Even with prompting from another mental health clinic they failed to act. Even with direct evidence of my seriously deteriorating mental health they couldn't be bothered to take even the slightest action to intervene to provide even the least bit of support of any kind. This is a total failure to provide anything resembling adequate mental health care or patient safety and displays total disregard for patient welfare and their mental health.

Suggested improvements
Demonstrate some understanding of basic knowledge mental health, the risks associated with deteriorating mental conditions and suicide attempts. To respond to patient requests for help and support. To act on requests from other mental health clinics and professionals. To be be compassionate and understanding about mental health conditions and patients. To demonstrate concern regarding patients' lives and welfare. To show concern for patient safety. To provide appropriate support for patients in distress. To act like a proper mental health service is meant to.
